This simple method is effective for viewers who may not have a calibrated monitor but still would like to view the artworks as close to their original colors as possible.
Please note that calibrated systems should not be adjusted this way.
Check if all squares from left to right differ from each other. If some squares look the same, they are not displayed correctly. You can now try to obtain a better display quality by adjusting the brightness or contrast of your monitor until all shades of grey separate from one another.
This new setting can be maintained for the future as it applies to all display purposes and is not limited to web-browsing.
